J. Tomas Lopez

J. Tomas Lopez is a Professor in the department of Art at the University of Miami and a fine art photographer. He work has been shown in over three group exhibitions and thirty-five solo exhibitions and is in many permanent collections including the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of American Art, the Library of Congress, La Biblioteque Nationale de France, Paris; the International Museum of Photography and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He has been awarded the Florida Artist Grant, the Cintas Foundation Fellowship, and the National Endowment for the Arts Award.


Santiago Lyon

Santiago Lyon is Adobe's first director of editorial content. In this newly created role, Santiago leads Adobe Stock’s editorial content strategy and collection, working with world-class photojournalists, documentary photographers, editorial providers and media. With more than 30 years of experience as an industry executive and photojournalist – and multiple awards for his work on conflict, including two World Press Photo prizes and the Bayeux prize for war photography – Santiago brings a unique perspective that reflects a lifetime of taking on new challenges with great passion and journalistic integrity.


Constantine Manos

Constantine Manos was born in Columbia, South Carolina, of Greek immigrant parents. His photographic career began in the school camera club at the age of thirteen. At the age of nineteen, he was hired as the official photographer of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Upon completion of his military service, he moved to New York, where he worked for Esquire, Life, and Look. Manos’s photographs are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Bibliothéque Nationale, Paris; George Eastman House, Rochester, NY; and the Benaki Museum, Athens. In 2003 Manos was awarded the Leica Medal of Excellence


Scott McKiernan

Scott McKiernan is a media industry leader and photojournalist. His leadership of the ZUMA Press family of companies, as well as decades of wide-ranging experience in photography has proven to be instrumental in establishing one of the world’s largest editorial photo news agencies, ZUMA Wire, which was launched in 1992 as the internet's first database for editorial pictures. A quarter century later, ZUMA Wire Service is the agent to the world's most respected newspapers and magazines with over 33+ million images online. In 2016 Mc Kiernan won the prestigious Jim Gordon Award from the NPPA for Editor of the Year.


Joseph Meehan

Joseph Meehan has worked as a professional photographer, writer, teacher and editor since the 1970’s. Over a thousand of his images have appeared in books, magazines, on the Web and in print advertisements. Meehan served as Technical Editor at Photo District News (www.pdnonline.com) for 12 years during the decade of the photographic industry’s transition from film to digital imaging. He is the former editor of the Photography Yearbook in the UK and has authored 25 books on photographic techniques. In 2010 he received the Palm Beach Photographic Centre’s FOTOfusion Golden Career Award.


Andrea Modica

Andrea Modica’s photographs have been featured in many publications, including the New York Times Magazine, the New Yorker, Newsweek and American Photo. Her books include Treadwell, Barbara, Minor League, Human Being, Fountain and As We Wait. She has had solo exhibitions at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art and the San Diego Museum of Photographic Arts. Her photographs are part of the permanent collections of many institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Whitney Museum. Modica is a Guggenheim Fellow, a Fulbright Scholar and the recipient of a Knight Award.  


Mark Murrmann

Mark Murrmann has been Photo Editor at Mother Jones since 2007. He came to the magazine with a background as a music photographer and photojournalist, working as a contract photographer with ZUMA Press. He studied at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism and then in London as a student winner of the Alexia Foundation Photography Grant.


Theano Nikitas

Theano Nikitas is a freelance photographer, journalist, educator and technical editor. For more than 20 years, her images, tutorials, reviews and feature articles have appeared in magazines and on websites such as Popular Photography, Digital Photo Pro, Rangefinder, Photo District News and Professional Photographer, to name just a few. When she's not testing cameras or working on software tutorials, she can be found photographing models on the runway at New York Fashion Week, experimenting with light painting or capturing split second images of dancers defying gravity.


Robert Pledge

Robert Pledge found his way into journalism and photography as an African affairs specialist. In 1976, with a small group of talented photographers, he co-founded the famed boutique agency Contact Press Images in NY. Pledge has curated major photographic exhibitions worldwide and edited acclaimed books including Red-Color News Soldier with Chinese photographer Li Zhensheng; 44 Days: Iran and the Remaking of the World with photographer David Burnett; and recently Quelque part en France (Somewhere in France) with never-before published photographs by John G. Morris, the London based LIFE magazine picture editor, taken in the summer of 1944 in Normandy, shortly after D-Day.
 


Tim Rasmussen

Tim Rasmussen is the Director of Photography for Digital and Print Media at ESPN. Previously, he managed photo departments at newspapers across the country, most recently as Assistant Managing Editor for Photography and Multimedia at the Denver Post. Under his leadership from 2006 – 2015, the photography staff was awarded three Pulitzers – two for Feature Photography and one for Breaking News Reporting. He established videojournalism at the Post where the staff was awarded 6 National Murrow Awards including Overall Excellence and nominated for a National Emmy in Current News Coverage.
