Types of Events

100 Series - Seminars

Learn from these lectures/seminars by the top professionals in the business. Topics range from advanced printing techniques to beginning with a digital camera. There's something for everyone.

The 100 series seminars are free to Gold Passport holders although you must register for these events before hand.

200 Series - FOTOshoots

Bring your camera and participate in FOTOshoots with master photographers at exotic locations, such as the Everglades, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, South Beach, Fairchild Gardens, and much more. FOTOshoots are space limited and may fill up, so you may want to indicate alternates in your registration.

Times shown on the schedule include estimated travel times to and from the location. All FOTOshoots meet initially in the outdoor courtyard between the Photographic Centre/Library entrance and City Hall, regardless of the destination. FOTOshoots will depart promptly at the designated start time. Make sure you arrive at lease 15 minutes prior to the start time for check-in. Often, students use this time to make arrangements to car pool.

Some FOTOshoots have addtional fees to cover the cost of entry fees, models, and other expenses. Gold Passport holders must pay any additional fees even if it is for their first FOTOshoot, included with their Gold Passport. Please include any additional fees in your payment to avoid a delay in processing your registration.

One FOTOshoot is included for Gold Passport holders. Additional FOTOshoots may be purchased.

300 Series - Computer Labs

Get hands-on experience in Photoshop^®, Lightroom^®, digital printing, Painter™, NIK filters, and much more in the Digital Lab. In addition, the WACOM Digital Lab will offer hands-on basic Photoshop^® and Painter™ classes. Computer labs are offered daily, Tuesdayday through Saturday during FOTOfusion. Computer Labs are space limited and may fill up, so you may want to indicate alternates in your registration.

One computer lab is included for Gold Passport holders. Additional computer labs may be purchased.

400 Series - Lecture Demos

The 400 series Lecture Demos are free to Gold Passport holders. For non-passport holders, prices vary from $10 to $25. In order to attend, you must register for these events before hand.

600 Series - Community Events

Community event lectures are given Wednesday through Saturday. Community events are free to INFOCUS Members and Passport holders. Non-Members can pay a nominal fee at the door.

Portfolio Reviews

Bring your portfolio for top photographers, picture editors and other pros in the business to evaluate your work. Portfolio reviews are offered Wednesday to Saturday, 11 am to 4 pm during FOTOfusion. Register 1 day in advance for each portfolio review. Most all of the photographers do portfolio reviews, so register before your favorites are all booked up.

Portfolio Reviews are free to Gold Passport holders.

Technology Center

See the latest products from various vendors.

The Technology Center is free to Members and Passport holders. Non-Members pay a nominal charge.

Special Events

Special Events include the Opening Bash, Closing Bash, Auctions and Awards Dinner. Charges for these events vary and also depend on whether you have a Gold Passport.
