Haunting, ethereal, pensive, mystical, – all of these words describe the photographic style of Joyce Tenneson. Her photos command a complex and intense emotional response from the viewer, which has made Tenneson one of the leading photographers of her generation. Her work is a mysterious alchemy of sensuality and spirituality lit in an almost otherworldly glow.
Tenneson is the author of sixteen books including the bestseller, Wise Women, which was featured in a six-part Today Show series. She is the recipient of many awards, including Lucie Awards for Fine Art Photographer of the Year in 2005 and Portrait Photographer of the Year in 2019, as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Professional Photographers of America. Tenneson was the recipient of the FOTOfusion 2015 FOTOmentor Award.
Richard Tsong-Taatarii brings attention to the joys and tribulations of Minnesotans as a staff photographer for the Minneapolis Star Tribune and a contributing photographer to ZUMA Press. His traveling monograph “Lakota Resistance: The Bison, Horse, and the River” is a five-year documentary on the legacy of the Wounded Knee Massacre on the Pine Ridge Reservation and his extensive coverage of the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) protests on the Standing Rock Reservation. His awards include NPPA Best of Photojournalism large market photographer of the year and a World Press Photo award in general news.
Vincent Versace is an internationally recognized pioneer in the art and science of digital photography. His passion for natural light photography is manifest not only in his work but also through his role as a creative and technical leader, contributing to innovative breakthroughs across the entire digital image value chain. Vincent is one of Nikon’s founding Nikon Ambassadors, he is a recipient of the Computerworld Smithsonian Award in Media Arts & Entertainment and the Shellenberg fine art award. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum of American History. He is the author of the best-selling books From Oz to Kansas: Almost Every Black & White Technique Known to Mankind and Welcome to Oz 2.0.
